Chatbooks for the Introvert
How to use Chatbooks while also being an introvert
Sharing any part of me online or in person doesn’t come easy. I really don’t like to put myself out there in any way. I’ve struggled with how I can present myself to the online world, while not giving too much information about family, or even about me.
“What if Nobody likes me?”
I am slowly getting braver and loving the people that I’m meeting. Some parts of the online world are really fun. I don’t share a lot of personal information about me: online, with Instagram, or Facebook. I don’t share any vacations photos that our family is involved in. I don’t even show the successes of my kids. (Poor kids. I think they know I love them) jk. I don’t need social media for my kids to know I love them. For some reason, that’s what the world is saying.
Back to where I was going with this.
Chatbooks for the Introvert.
This is the funniest commercial and exactly what my life really looks like. Ok, not exactly, but its eerily similar. I have decided that I’m going to create a personal, second Instagram account that is absolutely private and for my eyes only. I’m going to link it to chatbooks, because that’s what you do, and post away with tons of pictures that would be absolutely nauseating to my friends if it weren’t private…and….”get my magazine subscription to my own life” coming in the mail. We will finally have books that my kids can see and hold of our vacations. I will not feel guilty that I haven’t been keeping a journal for my posterity to see how awesome I was (am).
There will be an update in the future to let you know if it really is working out as awesome as it sounds in my brain. I really am excited and I posted my very first picture yesterday of my little Halloween Ghouls. You should go see it, Oh wait, It’s a private account….You can’t.
I have absolutely no affiliation with chatbooks and I don’t get a single kickback for mentioning them. I wanted to make others aware of a way to feel less guilty in life, while feeling like they need to document EVERYTHING! I hope this helps someone in the process.
Good luck and let me know if you decide to try this or if you have other suggestions!
